Blue Notary vs Notary Hub pricing and BlueNotary vs Notary Hub costs for companies with staff notaries

BlueNotary and Notary Hub both sell remote online notarization software to commissioned notaries, but they bill very differently. BlueNotary Business Pro costs 47 USD per notary seat a month, includes 2 sessions per seat, then charges 10 USD a session plus 5 USD per extra signer, with stamps free. Notary Hub RON Pro costs 35 USD a month, or 325 USD a year, includes 1 signing a month, then charges 5 USD a signing with up to 3 stamps and 9 USD with 4 or more, with signers and identity checks included. For one staff notary running 10 two-signer sessions a month, that is about 177 USD on BlueNotary and about 80 USD on Notary Hub.

Which is cheaper for a company, BlueNotary or Notary Hub?

Notary Hub is cheaper on published list prices for every own-notary scenario we priced, often by half, because its per-signing fee is 5 USD against BlueNotary's 10 USD and it does not charge for extra signers. BlueNotary has one thing Notary Hub does not offer business accounts: an on-demand notary network, so a session can still happen when your own notary is out, at BlueNotary's standard 25 USD rate.

That split decides most purchases. If your staff notaries cover every session, Notary Hub wins on cost. If some sessions need a notary you do not employ, BlueNotary covers them on one account, and a plan with network sessions included can beat both once overflow becomes weekly.

Blue Notary vs Notary Hub fees side by side

BlueNotary figures come from its fee schedule for business and individuals (updated January 2026) and Notary Hub figures from notaryhub.com/pricing, both checked on October 8, 2026. Both vendors change prices, so confirm them before you sign.

The line most buyers miss is the last one. Notary Hub RON Pro is designed for an independent notary who sells sessions to the public, sets the price and keeps the fee, with a booking storefront included. A company that just needs its own employees' documents notarized pays for features it will not use, and the cheaper per-signing fee is still the better deal.

What a real month costs on BlueNotary, Notary Hub and a flat plan

Each row is one month at list prices with monthly billing, no volume discounts. Corp RON is left out because Notary Hub does not publish its base price. ENotary sessions run by your own notaries are not counted against the plan.

Read it honestly. If your staff notaries handle every session, Notary Hub is the cheapest of the three on monthly billing in every own-notary row, and our Business plan only beats it on yearly billing, from about 20 multi-stamp sessions a month or two busy notaries. BlueNotary costs more than Notary Hub for pure own-notary work, roughly twice as much at 30 sessions, mostly because of the 10 USD session fee and the 5 USD signer fee.

The picture changes on the last row. Notary Hub does not supply notaries to business accounts, so a vacation week means a second vendor, a second login and a second invoice. BlueNotary absorbs those sessions at 25 USD each. A plan that includes network sessions absorbs them inside the monthly price.

Two or more staff notaries on each platform

Title agencies, law firms and bank branches rarely stop at one notary. On BlueNotary each notary is a 47 USD seat with its own 2 included sessions, and the account handles adding and removing notaries for business and title teams. Two seats cost 94 USD before any session fees.

On Notary Hub, a team has two choices. Each notary can hold a RON Pro account at 35 USD, which keeps costs low but splits billing and session history across logins. Or the company buys Corp RON, which adds a management dashboard, a shared storefront, central billing and a pooled set of prepaid sessions, with each extra notary at 23 USD a month. Notary Hub does not list the Corp RON base price, so ask for it in writing along with the pool size.

Whichever you pick, decide up front who routes incoming session requests to which notary. Offices that already run a shared queue with task assignment software for client requests can hand sessions out the same way, so a request never waits in one notary's inbox while the other sits free.

When BlueNotary is the better pick and when Notary Hub is

Notary Hub fits a company whose commissioned notaries cover every session, especially when signers often come in pairs or sessions carry several documents, because extra signers and stamps cost nothing beyond the 5 or 9 USD signing fee. Our Notary Hub pricing guide breaks down RON Pro and Corp RON in more detail.

BlueNotary fits a team that wants its own notaries for most sessions and a network notary for the rest on the same account, and real estate teams that use the 45 USD closing package rate. Our BlueNotary pricing guide covers on-demand rates and the title plan, and the BlueNotary alternative page compares it with Proof and OneNotary.

A flat plan fits a company that notarizes every week, needs sessions covered whether or not its notary is in, and wants one bill finance can forecast.

Questions to ask both vendors before you sign

  • Are the included sessions per seat or per account, and do unused ones roll over?
  • What does a session with three signers and six documents cost, in writing?
  • What is the Corp RON base price and how many sessions are in the pool?
  • Can we send a session to a network notary when ours is out, and at what price?
  • How long are journals and recordings stored, and can we export them if we leave?
  • Which states is the platform approved in for our notaries' commissions?

Is Notary Hub cheaper than BlueNotary?

Yes, for sessions your own notary runs. Notary Hub RON Pro is 35 USD a month with 5 USD per signing up to 3 stamps and no signer fee. BlueNotary Business Pro is 47 USD per seat with 10 USD per session after the first 2 and 5 USD per extra signer. Ten two-signer sessions cost about 80 USD against 177 USD.

Does Notary Hub provide notaries for businesses?

No. Notary Hub's business plans are software for commissioned notaries you already employ. Its consumer side lets the public book independent notaries, but a company on RON Pro or Corp RON needs its own notary for every session. BlueNotary and ENotary both offer network notaries alongside own-notary seats.

How much does BlueNotary Business Pro cost per month?

BlueNotary Business Pro costs 47 USD per notary seat a month. Each seat includes 2 sessions, then each session costs 10 USD. Additional stamps are free, additional signers cost 5 USD, a witness from BlueNotary costs 10 USD and a closing or estate planning package costs 45 USD flat.

How much is Notary Hub Corp RON?

Notary Hub does not publish the base price of Corp RON. Its pricing page says the plan includes one notary seat, adds 23 USD a month for each additional notary and bills sessions from a shared prepaid pool that refreshes monthly. Ask Notary Hub for the base price and pool size in writing.

What is a better option than BlueNotary and Notary Hub for a team?

For a company that needs its own notaries and supplied notaries on one account, a plan with network sessions included is usually simpler. ENotary Business is 299 USD a month, or 149 USD billed yearly, with 2 own-notary seats whose sessions are not counted and 12 network sessions of up to 4 signers and 10 documents.

How to decide in ten minutes

Write down last month's sessions, the average number of signers and stamps per session, how many notaries you employ and how many sessions waited because a notary was out. Price that month on BlueNotary, on Notary Hub and on the online notary cost page. If no session ever waited, Notary Hub is likely your answer. If several did, compare the overflow cost too, and see how bring your own notary seats work on a plan that includes network notaries. Leaving an older platform? The DocVerify alternative page compares the options for notaries moving off it.
