Online notary subscription and monthly notary plans for business teams

An online notary subscription is a monthly plan that includes a set number of remote notary sessions, so your team stops paying for every document, seal and signer. ENotary plans include commissioned network notaries, identity verification, a digital seal and a full audit trail. Starter is 119 USD a month with 4 sessions, Business is 299 USD with 12 sessions and 2 own-notary seats, and yearly billing halves both.

What a notary subscription actually buys you

Most online notary services sell a "subscription" that is really an account fee. You pay 30 to 80 USD a month for a dashboard and a lower rate, then still pay 18 to 25 USD for every notarization, plus more for each extra seal or signer. The bill still moves with volume.

An ENotary subscription works the other way round. The sessions are in the price. One session covers up to 4 signers and up to 10 documents, wherever those signers are, and the monthly price does not change when a closing package has six documents or a power of attorney has two principals. When your volume grows, you move to the next plan, and finance gets one number to budget.

Pick the plan that covers a normal month

Count last quarter's notarizations, divide by three and match the number to a plan. Most title agencies and law firms land on Business.

Every plan includes ID credential analysis, knowledge-based authentication and a liveness check for each signer, a digital notary seal and certificate, tamper-evident PDF sealing and a timestamped audit trail. Sessions run by your own commissioned notaries never use the allowance. The full breakdown is on the online notary cost page.

Subscription vs pay per notarization for a business

The table compares a typical pay-per-use bill with a subscription at three common volumes. Per-use figures assume 25 USD per notarization and 10 USD per extra signer, which is the published rate at several large providers.

Monthly volumePay per notarizationAccount-fee plan (about 50 USD plus 23 USD each)ENotary subscription

40 notarizations, 2 signers1,400 USD1,370 USD and up799 USD, or 399 USD billed yearly

At three or four single-signer documents a month, pay per use is fine and we say so. The subscription earns its place from about one notarization a week, and sooner when you notarize packages or have co-signers in different cities.

Online notary subscription questions buyers ask

Is there a monthly subscription for online notary?

Yes. Several platforms sell monthly plans, but most charge an account fee plus a fee for every notarization. ENotary's subscription includes the sessions themselves: 4 a month on Starter for 119 USD, 12 on Business for 299 USD and 40 on Scale for 799 USD, with identity checks and seals included and 50% off on yearly billing.

How much does an online notary subscription cost?

Account-fee plans run from about 30 to 199 USD a month, with 18 to 25 USD charged per notarization on top. Plans with notarizations included cost more up front but less per document. ENotary starts at 119 USD a month, or 59 USD billed yearly, for 4 network notary sessions.

Is an online notary subscription worth it for a business?

It is worth it once you notarize about once a week, or sooner if your documents come in packages or need two signers. Below three or four single-signer documents a month, paying per notarization is usually cheaper. Above that, included sessions cost less and give finance one predictable monthly figure.

What happens if we use more sessions than the plan includes?

You move to the next plan. The upgrade applies right away, the price is prorated, and the new allowance is available the same day. There are no surprise per-session invoices. Unused sessions do not carry over to the next month, so pick the plan that covers a normal month.

Can we use our own notaries with a subscription?

Yes. Business includes 2 own-notary seats, Scale 10 and Enterprise unlimited. Sessions your commissioned notaries run get the same session room, identity checks, seal and audit trail, and they do not use the monthly allowance, so network sessions stay available for overflow.

Are online notarizations from a subscription legally valid?

Yes. A session on a subscription is a standard remote online notarization performed by a notary commissioned and authorized for RON in their state, with identity proofing, a digital seal and a recording. Most states recognize remote notarizations performed under another state's law, and recipients such as county recorders may have their own requirements.
